Elizabeth Graziolo is a proponent of classicism, as evidenced in the projects undertaken by her architecture and interior design firm, . Perhaps it’s no surprise, considering she spent a productive 18 years of her career at Peter Pennoyer Architects. In 2020, she ventured out on her own, building a portfolio that includes residential and commercial settings across the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Miami, and abroad.

Elizabeth Graziolo worked with design firm Redd Kaihoi on this Manhattan apartment.

Her projects, ranging from ground-up construction to historical preservation, exhibit a strong attention to detail. In an Upper East Side penthouse duplex on which she collaborated with the ELLE DECOR A-List firm Redd Kaihoi, featured in our, Graziolo complemented Redd Kaihoi’s sumptuous design scheme with architectural details spanning centuries. From linen-fold paneling in the family room to fluted plaster walls in the dining room, she seamlessly merged classical elements with a futuristic aesthetic.

Running a firm with 20 employees isn’t enough for Graziolo; she’s also a member of the Design Leadership Network and participates in an initiative to identify and train Black architecture and design students from Mississippi State University. Graziolo has a similar impact at her alma mater, Cooper Union, where she serves on the board as a trustee.
